RIS is in search of a passionate and dynamic Upper Elementary Teacher (Grade 5) who will motivate, engage, and foster student learning. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of upper elementary student development, subject-area expertise, and effective practices in inquiry-based learning, differentiation, and assessing student progress. Experience in collaborative curriculum design and proficiency in unit development through backward planning is essential. The selected candidate will work closely with department colleagues, school administrators, and the curriculum coordinator to ensure that instructional strategies effectively cater to the diverse needs of all students.

•Proficient in effective communication with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
•Capable of differentiating instruction to accommodate all learners

•Participated in contemporary and relevant professional development in teaching and learning
•Experienced in utilizing technology tools for upper elementary education
•Familiar with Google Suite
•Knowledgeable in standards-based assessment, grading, and reporting
•Open to working in a multicultural environment
Q u a l i f i c a t i o n s & R e q u i r e m e n t s
•Valid elementary school license or certification for teaching upper elementary; a Master’s degree in a related area is preferred
•At least two years of experience as an upper elementary teacher in an accredited elementary institution
