About This Role
Beginning in August, the Jataka School is excited to announce an opening for a Learning Assistant in our Early Years department, which caters to students aged 3 to 5. Our innovative approach emphasizes the integration and revitalization of Asian wisdom traditions while implementing the Middle Way Education's early years and primary program from Woodstock, NY, in the vibrant heart of Southeast Asia.
We are in search of a skilled Learning Assistant who will be a vital part of our teaching team, helping to promote student well-being and support their academic achievements. The Learning Assistant will collaborate closely with class teachers in planning, delivering instruction, and enhancing the overall learning experience to meet the highest standards.
In this role, the Learning Assistant will be instrumental in creating and maintaining a stimulating and age-appropriate learning environment. They will assist with classroom setup and resource allocation, ensuring that the space is engaging and conducive to learning. Furthermore, in our play-based educational model, Learning Assistants will facilitate children's development and the reinforcement of skills through on-the-spot planning.
We are particularly interested in candidates who possess strong language skills in Thai, English, and Mandarin to join our founding team.
