We are in search of a committed Middle School Humanities and Geography Specialist to become part of our team. This role presents an engaging opportunity to teach Humanities within the Middle School curriculum while spearheading the Geography program across the Secondary School, which includes IGCSE and A Level courses.
Position: IGCSE and A Level Geography Specialist (Additionally able to teach Middle School Humanities)
Department: Humanities
Education Stage: Middle School and Secondary
Curriculum: British Curriculum (adapted) and Cambridge IGCSE and A Level
Position Type: Teacher
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Education, or a related discipline
• A recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of teaching experience within a British or international curriculum
• In-depth knowledge of Humanities instruction at the Middle School level
• Experience teaching Geography at IGCSE level and preferably at A Level
• Capability to enhance students’ comprehension of global issues, environments, and human systems
• Proficiency in delivering engaging, rigorous, and conceptually rich lessons
• Experienced in inquiry-based, discussion-based, and project-based learning methodologies
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Experience in an international school setting is preferred
