As a Boarding Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the wellbeing, daily routines, and overall experience of our boarders. Additionally, you will aid in language development within the primary school by supporting English learners and introducing basic Spanish to younger students.

About the role
As a Boarding Assistant at Regent's, your responsibilities will include:
•
Facilitating the smooth operation of daily routines, encompassing wake-up, meal times, study periods, and bedtime.
•
Fostering positive and supportive relationships with students hailing from diverse countries and cultural backgrounds.
•
Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students feel at home.
•
Assisting with weekend activities, trips, and events that enrich the boarding experience.
•
Collaborating closely with boarding staff to provide practical support, supervision, and pastoral care.
•
Supporting students in developing their English skills through small-group and in-class assistance.
•
Helping students gain confidence in their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in English.
•
Working alongside teachers to ensure students can access the curriculum and achieve significant progress.
About you
We seek an individual who will excel in a diverse and lively international school environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

A genuine passion for supporting young people and enhancing their boarding experience.
•
An interest in language development and assisting children in building confidence in English (and basic Spanish).
•
Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school, camp, or youth organization.
•
Strong communication and teamwork capabilities, paired with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
•
Flexibility, patience, and initiative — essential traits for both boarding and classroom contexts.
•
A willingness to engage in the broader life of the school, including activities and house events.
•
A spirit of adventure and openness to embracing a new country and culture.
Please be aware that due to visa regulations, applicants must be school leavers and between 18 and 19 years old as of 1st August 2026.
