About This Role

Purpose of Role

ISP Teacher Key Responsibilities

- Create lesson plans that align with established school and curriculum standards.

- Modify and reassess lesson plans to address individual student needs, adhere to newly introduced guidelines, update pertinent information, and incorporate advancements in educational practices.

- Tailor the curriculum to accommodate student requirements while ensuring overall class progression.

- Maintain and continually enhance a solid understanding of curriculum programs and frameworks.

- Evaluate and document student progress, identifying areas that require attention and improvement.

- Foster a safe and encouraging learning environment for all students.

- Collaborate with fellow staff members who interact with students.

- Regularly communicate with parents in accordance with school guidelines, including sharing student progress reports and informing them of necessary disciplinary actions.

- Address the varying ability levels of students effectively.

- Uphold discipline and order among students while ensuring compliance with school rules and promoting safety.

- Participate in occasional professional development seminars.

- Attend and engage in school meetings related to curriculum, organization, and guidelines.

- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by your direct supervisor or the Deputy Head.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Teacher Skills

Classroom Management, Curriculum Development, Lesson Planning, In-depth Knowledge of Relevant Subject Areas, Flexible Teaching Methods, Innovative Problem-Solving, Patience, Empathy, Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Well-developed Organizational Abilities, Timeliness, Cultural Sensitivity.

Qualification & Experience:

- Must be a native speaker with a valid passport from the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, or South Africa.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a Bachelor of Arts, accompanied by an internationally recognized teaching certification such as PGCE/PGCertEd /QTS.

- A minimum of 3 years of international teaching experience at the primary level is preferred.

- A clean criminal record.

Compensation

₫60,000,000 - ₫86,000,000 per month (Salary and housing allowance, other benefits)
