About This Role

Beaconhouse Private School Al Ain is looking for a dedicated and innovative Head of Inclusion to spearhead and enhance our inclusion services throughout the school. This pivotal leadership position is essential for guaranteeing that all students, especially those with special educational needs (SEN), English as an Additional Language (EAL), and other learning requirements, receive the necessary support to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership, educators, families, and outside agencies to foster an inclusive, supportive, and high-achieving educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities


Oversee and direct the school’s Inclusion/SEN services in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards


Identify, assess, and assist students with additional learning challenges


Create and execute Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies


Offer guidance, coaching, and training to teaching and support personnel


Track student progress and assess the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives


Establish effective communication with parents, therapists, psychologists, and external experts


Maintain precise documentation, reporting, and adherence to policies


Cultivate a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and high expectations throughout the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have


A recognized teaching credential (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) in Special Education


Qualifications or certifications related to SEN/Inclusion (preferred)


Demonstrated experience in a leadership role focused on Inclusion or SEN within the UAE


Robust understanding of inclusive teaching methodologies and interventions


Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership abilities


A student-focused perspective with a collaborative approach


Experience in an international or British curriculum environment (preferred)

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
