The Role
We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to instruct students in Key Stages 3–4. The ideal candidate will create lively, inquiry-driven Science lessons and make a meaningful contribution to the school's pastoral care and ecological initiatives.
- Design and implement high-quality Science lessons that meet curriculum standards
- Encourage practical, inquiry-based learning and promote critical thinking skills
- Incorporate real-world scientific and environmental challenges into educational content
- Monitor, assess, and support the progress of students
- Serve as a form tutor, prioritizing student wellbeing
- Get involved in enrichment programs, clubs, and sustainability efforts
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection protocols
The Ideal Candidate
- Valid teaching qualification in Science
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (KS3–KS4 preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and communication abilities
- Dedication to holistic education and sustainability principles
- Familiarity with the UK or Cambridge curriculum
- Experience in pastoral care or as a form tutor
- Capability to lead a science club
