ROLE SUMMARY:
St. Peter’s International School, situated in Palmela near Lisbon, caters to approximately 1,500 students aged 4 months to 18 years across a contemporary 37,000 m² campus. The institution provides a bilingual curriculum (Portuguese/English), Cambridge programs, and the International Baccalaureate, along with boarding facilities for older students. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled IB English B Teacher to implement the IB English B curriculum commencing in August for the upcoming academic year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that cater to diverse learners.
•
Employ innovative teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning and digital resources.
•
Evaluate student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
•
Contribute to curriculum development and incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences.
•
Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom environment while supporting student well-being.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues and take part in school events and extracurricular programs.
•
Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to safeguarding policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A degree in English, Education, or a related field (teaching qualification is preferred).
•
Experience teaching IB English B (or similar international curricula).
•
A passion for inspiring students and encouraging both academic and personal development.
•
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
•
Experience in an international or multicultural setting (preferred).
•
Proficient command of English and a commitment to student well-being.
