Whole School Social Studies Teacher

Yas School is seeking a remarkable Whole School Social Studies Teacher to join our team starting in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, with the possibility of an earlier start.

Yas School follows the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, emphasizing inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing our learners for future challenges. Established in 2015, we proudly stand as the largest single-campus K-12 government institution, catering to over 1750 boys and girls on our vast campus.

We are looking for an experienced educator with a background in UK or US curricula, and preferably some knowledge of the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In this role at Yas School, you will be tasked with delivering engaging and impactful lessons that foster students' academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being. You will play a pivotal role in empowering students to achieve their full potential, preparing them to thrive as competitive global citizens while honoring and enhancing the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

As an educator, you will build strong relationships and maintain clear communication with parents, colleagues, and students, upholding high academic and behavioral expectations that reflect the school’s ethos and policies. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are highly preferred.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
