We are looking for a passionate and skilled Teacher of Key Stage 3 Mathematics to join our team in August 2026, with experience in international or UK-based curricula.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver stimulating and effective Mathematics lessons at Key Stage 3, aligned with the school's curriculum framework.
  • Design and execute engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, using modern teaching techniques and technology.
  • Evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments, upholding high academic standards.
  • Provide pastoral care, promoting student well-being and collaborating with the school's well-being team.
  • Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities, mathematics clubs, and enrichment initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and participate in school improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behavior and discipline.
  • Work alongside colleagues to share best practices and support professional development goals.
  • Communicate with parents and stakeholders through regular updates on student progress.
  • Stay informed about educational trends and engage in ongoing professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, preferably with knowledge of international or UK curricula.
  • The capability to inspire and motivate students, encouraging confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.
  • Strong skills in differentiating instruction for a diverse array of learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Experience incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
