About This Role

Job Title: Site Supervisor - Caretaker

Salary Grade: SCP 4-6

Actual Salary: £26,016- £26,847

Working Pattern: 37 Hrs per week

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for an excellent site supervisor:

To manage and supervise cleaning staff within the school and undertake cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

Organise an annual deep clean of classrooms, staff rooms, kitchen, dining areas and other frequently used spaces on school premises

Act as a designated key holder for the school premises and maintain security

Operate and regularly check systems such as water, heating, cooling, lighting and security (including alarms)

Undertake minor repairs and maintenance of the buildings and site

Arrange emergency repairs

Carry out or arrange regular maintenance and safety checks in liaison with the health and safety estates lead

Ensure that buildings and the site are secure, including during out of school hours and take remedial action if required

Oversee onsite maintenance contractors, checking that work is completed to required standards and within required timescales

Monitor consumables and stock and/order supplies

Undertake general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment within the school

To undertake cleaning duties of designated areas.
