The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Secondary and A Level teachers across various subjects to join our growing international team.

At International Rural School, educators are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction that aligns with the British curriculum and Cambridge International programs. They play a crucial role in helping students establish strong academic foundations while fostering critical thinking, independence, and a passion for learning.

Successful candidates will:

  • Teach Secondary and/or A Level subjects in their area of expertise
  • Create and implement engaging and academically rigorous lessons
  • Prepare students for IGCSE and A Level assessments
  • Participate in the wider school community
  • Collaborate with colleagues and build positive relationships with families

Requirements

  • C2 level of English (native or near-native proficiency)
  • Experience teaching Secondary or A Level within the British curriculum
  • A recognized teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and organizational skills
  • A commitment to personalized and student-centered education

Desirable

  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE or A Levels
  • Background in international education settings
  • Willingness to engage in extracurricular activities or school initiatives
