Secondary Science teacher
About This Role
Due to the continued expansion of its Senior school, Capital School is seeking to hire an exceptional science teacher to begin in January 2025.
Located in Bahrain, Capital School follows a traditional British educational model, providing a structured classroom environment that aligns with key stages of development. We deliver the British National Curriculum, including the Early Years Foundation Stage, while also complying with the Bahrain Ministry of Education’s requirements for Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies. Our goal is to foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that ensures an outstanding educational experience for our students.
Our teaching and learning strategies embody the finest British educational practices within a contemporary learning environment that is both stimulating and effective. We emphasize family values and customs, creating an environment of warmth and care, as we believe a joyful child learns more effectively. Our sense of teamwork and cooperation is further enhanced through our school house system, which includes Buckingham, Windsor, Kensington, and Westminster.
We have recently relocated to a brand-new facility that opened this academic year. The school is organized into separate buildings for nursery, primary, and senior schools, providing optimal learning environments for all our pupils. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities for swift advancement into middle and senior leadership positions.
As a BSO (British School Overseas) and BSME school, we welcome newly qualified and early career teachers from the UK, offering support throughout their teaching journey. This position will also involve mentoring staff as they gain experience in the classroom.
