Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) is preparing to mark its 19th anniversary in August 2026. The school first opened its doors in September 2007 in Al Taawun with a student body of under 200. Over the last 18 years, VISS has transformed into a prominent network of educational institutions, featuring 2 IB World Schools that deliver the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum from KG to Grade 12, including the IB Diploma Programme, and currently supports a diverse population of over 5,000 students across five campuses.

Our schools are directed by a highly experienced international academic leadership team well-versed in the UAE education landscape, complemented by the VISS Schools Group, which is dedicated to offering superior Australian and international education to a varied global community.

We are in search of passionate and motivated educators to become part of our dynamic team. The selected individuals will design engaging lessons in line with the Australian Curriculum (adapted for context) to foster students' development into confident, independent learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding teaching and learning experiences that comply with the curriculum

- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment, emphasizing student wellbeing and safeguarding

- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback

- Build strong relationships with parents and fellow educators

- Engage in school initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field

- Recognized teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g., VIT, QTS, or equivalent)

- Experience in an international or Australian curriculum setting is preferred

- Generalist science knowledge with a specialization

- Regional experience is beneficial but not required
