About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Secondary Performing Arts Teacher, starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to advance the school’s strategic vision and will be expected to teach across all secondary Key Stages.

Located in Al Furjan, Arcadia Global School follows a high-quality British curriculum. The school aims to be the preferred inclusive institution for families in the Al Furjan community and beyond, where every student feels happy, positive, and excels academically, socially, and emotionally.

Requirements:
- A fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Capability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a proven history of successful performance outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and enhancing the curriculum.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Exceptional practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons based on current pedagogical methods and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A collaborative professional who works well both within their immediate team and the broader school community.

Core Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to meet curriculum demands while ensuring all students' needs are addressed through effective scaffolding and objectives.
- Maintain discipline in line with school policies, promoting good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective communication and monitoring with parents about academic progress, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Adhere to the school's current policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update subject materials, including schemes of work.
