We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Mathematics teacher to join our team in September 2025. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching Mathematics for Y7 to Y10 IGCSE. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about fostering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring impressive student progress and engagement as part of our experienced and successful secondary team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A first degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A P.G.C.E. or equivalent UK Teacher Education qualification or a Spanish teaching qualification.
- Proficient in English (Mother tongue / C2 / C1 level).
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute planning, preparation, assessment, and reporting that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create engaging and challenging lessons that promote consistent progress.
- Address the needs of all students, including those with Special Educational Needs, through appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate records, aligning assessments with school policy.
- Follow departmental guidelines on curriculum, feedback, behavior, and resources.
- Uphold good order and discipline in accordance with the school's behavior policy, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents.
- Engage in school meetings and adhere to all relevant policies.
- Prioritize student safety and well-being.
