About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a passionate and skilled Secondary Geography Teacher to join our team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with experienced colleagues to support the school’s strategic vision and will be equipped to teach all secondary Key Stages up to A Level.

Requirements:
- A fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Proven ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a successful record in student performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and contributing to the curriculum.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Exceptional teaching professionals who can provide innovative lessons based on contemporary pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A collaborative professional who works effectively both within their immediate team and across the broader school community.

- Utilize diverse teaching methods to engage students, ensuring curriculum demands are met through scaffolding and objective-driven strategies tailored to all learners.
- Uphold discipline in line with school policies and promote positive practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding academic progress, adhering to school reporting protocols and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Follow the current policies and procedures of the school.
- Prepare and revise subject materials, including schemes of work.
