About This Role
Dallington School Madrid is in search of a Secondary English and Humanities Teacher for KS3 to KS5.
We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Teacher primarily responsible for teaching English and Humanities at KS3 and KS4 levels.
The ideal candidate for our Secondary English and Humanities teaching position must possess a recognized UK teaching qualification, have a minimum of five years of teaching experience, and be fully qualified.
This is a permanent position set to commence on 28th August 2025. The annual gross salary will align with our pay scale, which is based on experience, ranging from €28,000 to €35,000 for full-time educators.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) along with a degree in English Language, English Literature, and History or Geography.
WORKING VISA AND/OR EUROPEAN RESIDENCY:
Candidates who are already residing in Spain or hold a European passport, visa, or residency will be given preference.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of five years of experience teaching English and English Literature at the Secondary level.
- Experience in preparing students for IGCSE and post-16 AL examinations will be beneficial.
