About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to appoint a committed and experienced Secondary Design and Technology Teacher to join our team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow educators to advance the school’s strategic vision and will be qualified to teach across all secondary Key Stages.

Located in Al Furjan, Arcadia Global School offers a high-quality British curriculum. Our goal is to become the preferred inclusive school for families within the Al Furjan community and beyond, ensuring that every student is happy, positive, and thriving both academically and emotionally.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Proven ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a strong record in performance outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and contributing to the curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- Outstanding educators capable of delivering innovative lessons based on current pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A professional who collaborates effectively with both the immediate team and the broader school community.

Core Responsibilities

- Utilize a range of teaching methods to inspire learning, meeting curriculum requirements while ensuring all students’ needs are addressed through scaffolding and clear objectives.
- Uphold discipline in line with the school’s policies and promote good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Participate in the development and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective monitoring and communication with parents concerning academic progress, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Follow current school policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update subject materials, including schemes of work.
