About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Secondary Biology and Science Teacher to become a part of the Science department at our school during an exciting new developmental phase. The position is set to commence in February 2025. The ideal candidate should be self-assured and capable of teaching across all secondary levels, including IGCSE and IBDP.

Cambridge College currently equips students for IGCSE and the IB Diploma programme, making this a remarkable opportunity for those with experience in (I)GCSE and/or IB education.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member equipped to teach throughout both the Middle and Senior School.

The qualifications required for this position include:

• A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or other recognized teaching qualification.
• A minimum of four years of teaching experience.
• A positive and enthusiastic approach as a member of the teaching staff.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and (I)GCSE and/or IB syllabuses is preferred.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the whole child.
• A proven history of exemplary classroom management and pedagogical practice.
• The ability to engage in our extracurricular program.
• Flexibility to collaborate across various curriculum subjects and key stages.
• A team-oriented mindset to help develop innovative initiatives for enhancing the Science curriculum.
