Science (Biology & ESS) - Secondary School - MYP/DP Teacher

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a dedicated Science (Biology & ESS) teacher to join our team starting on 18-08-2025. We are in search of exceptional educators who can inspire student curiosity and engagement. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the IB MYP/DP and those who can differentiate learning while demonstrating a strong commitment to holistic education.

The Role:

In the capacity of a Science (Biology & ESS) Teacher for the MYP/DP curriculum, you will engage and inspire students through inquiry-based learning, upholding high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting within your subject area. This position requires a passionate educator who can motivate not just students, but also parents and staff, to achieve ongoing success. The ideal candidate will focus on holistic education, delivering well-resourced lessons, and fostering an environment that balances warmth and challenge for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum content while maintaining exceptional teaching and assessment standards.
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom that upholds students' right to learn.
• Design differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly within the IB MYP/DP framework.
• Work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute positively to the school community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science (Biology & ESS) or an equivalent qualification.
• PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience, ideally within an IB school.
• A demonstrated history of delivering outstanding results.
• A professional commitment to effectively implementing an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is preferred.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work closely with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
• Strong work ethic and readiness to contribute to the overall welfare of the school.
