Teacher of Science and Maths
We are in search of an enthusiastic, inspiring, and resilient secondary teacher with a demonstrated history of achieving exceptional academic results. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 to motivated students of varying abilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in assessing student progress, demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy capabilities, and actively engage in our school community.
Essential:
- A degree from a British University (B.Ed, BA Hons with QTS, or PGCE);
- Native-level proficiency in English;
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a Secondary school;
- Experience ideally teaching the National Curriculum in England/Wales (candidates with experience in the Scottish or Northern Irish curriculum are also encouraged to apply);
- Strong subject knowledge with a dynamic and creative teaching approach that motivates all learners;
- High expectations for students' learning and behavior;
- Experience and/or knowledge in providing pastoral care.
Desirable:
- Evidence of recent relevant professional development (including current knowledge in AfL, EAL, ICT, literacy/numeracy across the curriculum, classroom motivation, and effective differentiation methods);
- Recent teaching experience with students in Key Stages 3 to 5;
- Experience teaching second language learners.
