About This Role
Arcadia Global School Al Furjan is seeking a committed and skilled School Counsellor to become part of our team starting in August 2026. Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
•
Comprehensive knowledge of child development, mental health strategies, and safeguarding practices.
•
Experience in working with students across different ages and abilities.
•
A strong dedication to the ideals of inclusion, diversity, and student well-being.
•
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Core Responsibilities

Engage actively in shaping the counseling elements of the strategic action plan.
•
Supervise and coordinate all counseling functions to ensure the Department operates effectively.
•
Offer both individual and group counseling to support students in their social, emotional, and academic progress.
•
Develop and execute initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health and overall well-being.
•
Recognize and assist students encountering personal, academic, or social challenges.
•
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional counseling standards.
•
Consistently embody, exemplify, and advocate for the AGS Values.
