is seeking an enthusiastic and seasoned Primary SENCO to join our team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs and the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework, as well as a strong conviction that every child can succeed when given appropriate support.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in executing the school's strategic objectives and Inclusion Policy, ensuring full compliance with KHDA/DSIB standards.
• Oversee and assess the provision for students of determination in the Primary sector, including IEPs/pupil profiles, intervention strategies, and alternative pathways.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all inclusion-related documentation, including PPs, IEPs, assessments, reports, and external records.
• Conduct quality assurance activities, such as learning walks, data scrutiny, impact assessments, lesson planning support, and preparation for inspections.
• Lead, assign, and enhance the skills of Inclusion Teachers and Learning Support Assistants, promoting effective coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Monitor and analyze student data to assess progress and the effectiveness of provisions and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, LSAs, parents, and external specialists to ensure effective communication and coordinated support.
• Offer advice on differentiation, inclusive practices, and support strategies within the classroom.
• Assist with admissions processes, transition planning, and access arrangements for students of determination.

Requirements
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline (required).
• A postgraduate qualification or certification in SEN/Inclusion (required).
• Additional training in inclusive education, intervention techniques, or educational psychology is a plus.

Experience
• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a SENCO, Inclusion Lead, or similar role within a primary school environment.
• Proven experience in supporting students of determination with diverse needs.
• Strong knowledge of KHDA/DSIB inclusion standards and the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework.
• Demonstrated experience in data management, oversight of interventions, and maintaining precise documentation.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively, engage in teamwork, and provide hands-on classroom support.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
*Estimated range based on regional data averages.
