About This Role

Aldenham Prep Riyadh, a member of the Aldenham Education Group closely affiliated with Aldenham School in the UK, established in 1597, opened its doors to students in September 2022. Due to ongoing growth, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a **Primary Class Teacher** to join our dedicated and talented team, with a start date in January 2025.

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering most of the curriculum to your students while collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive teaching and learning experience across the Year Group. Specialist teachers will instruct Arabic, Islamic studies, Music, and PE to enrich the curriculum, and each class will have the assistance of a dedicated Teaching Assistant.

You will be expected to:

- Effectively utilize Teaching Support Assistants to aid students in class.

- Fully engage in co-curricular and activity programs.

Person Specification:
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree, preferably from a UK University.
- UK Postgraduate Certificate of Education or Qualified Teacher Status.
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum of England.
- A strong academic background and experience that commands respect from students, parents, colleagues, and the wider community.
- A commitment to fostering academic progress and ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of students.
- Awareness of recent educational developments and best practices.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with the demands of a UK independent school environment.
- Experience working with children who speak English as an Additional Language.
- Proficient knowledge of utilizing technology in education.
