We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team, with a starting date in August 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach and manage a primary class in alignment with IB PYP and curriculum standards.
  • Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of students in core subjects.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages holistic student development.
  • Utilize inquiry-based learning strategies to boost critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, modifying teaching methods as needed to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute actively to school initiatives.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities to enhance their social and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their families.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A degree in Education or a related field, accompanied by a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school environment.
  • Proficiency in inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methodologies.
  • A proven ability to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural setting.
  • A commitment to contributing to the wider school community.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
