- Collaboratively and purposefully create ongoing interactive and cooperative learning experiences that encourage productive dialogue and feedback, utilizing data-driven insights to adaptively cater to students' diverse needs.
- Partner with colleagues to address student differences by boosting self-esteem, valuing prior knowledge, scaffolding learning, and offering meaningful, respectful, and challenging tasks for every student.
- Organize and implement ongoing assessment strategies in cooperation with learners and colleagues to track, document, measure, and report on student learning. Use “Assessment as and for Learning” data to inform modifications in teaching and learning practices.
- Focus on approaches to learning by clearly identifying the skills and attitudes being nurtured. Provide explicit instruction to students in the strategies and techniques necessary for processing information, thereby promoting skill transfer and self-regulation.
- Effectively integrate technology to enhance students’ learning experiences. Reflect on the rationale for technology usage and ensure the maintenance of digital integrity.
- Foster and advance students’ language development by activating prior knowledge, building background understanding, scaffolding language acquisition, expanding language skills, and affirming individual identities.
- Plan to help students internalize sustainability principles and navigate complex systems, empowering them to initiate or advocate for actions that restore and sustain ecosystem health while promoting equity and envisioning a sustainable future.
- Actively engage in professional inquiry through methods such as PLCs, action research, workshops, study groups, critical friends, and data teams, aimed at ongoing reflection on practices to enhance student learning.
- Reflect on and assess beliefs regarding professional responsibilities to act with integrity and transparency, build connections and learning communities, and honor and promote organizational, local, and global cultures.
