Egypt British International School (EBIS) is seeking a committed and qualified Physics Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year. Our mission focuses on Enriching – Exploring – Excelling, with core values that highlight enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who possesses a deep passion for delivering outstanding science education within a supportive and culturally aware British curriculum framework. The ideal candidate will be able to spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and inspire scientific inquiry while fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

Requirements:

● A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field, along with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
● A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably in an international British-curriculum setting.
● A solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum, with experience in middle school preferred.
● The capability to design engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based science lessons.
● Proficiency in effective classroom management, creating an atmosphere of respect and high expectations.
● Experience in using formative and summative assessments to drive student progress.
● Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description:

● Create and deliver exceptional Physics lessons that adhere to National Curriculum standards.
● Develop students’ scientific understanding, analytical abilities, and practical lab skills.
● Maintain a safe and well-organized laboratory environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
● Monitor, assess, and document student achievements, providing timely feedback and targeted assistance.
● Keep accurate records in accordance with school policies and safeguarding guidelines.
● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student academic performance and well-being.
● Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, moderation, and school-wide projects.
● Participate in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or co-curricular programs.
● Attend weekly CPD sessions and pursue ongoing professional development.
