Lower School Class Teacher (possible middle leadership position）

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE)
• Strong understanding of curriculum developments in the respective subject area
• Knowledge of how Assessment for Learning can enhance student performance
• Ability to work in a manner that supports the safety and wellbeing of children
• Effective communication skills to engage with children and their families
• Experience and confidence to teach students aged 5-7

Desirable

• Teaching experience in an International School setting
• Ability to challenge and differentiate instruction for students of varying abilities
• Experience in leading and organizing extra-curricular activities
• Willingness to explore innovative educational approaches
• Subject knowledge adequate to challenge gifted students and achieve high outcomes
• Understanding of positive disciplinary methods
• Knowledge of child development and its influence on behavior
