Key Stage 2 Teacher
About This Role
The British Primary School of Wilanow (BSW) in Warsaw, Poland, is thrilled to announce an opening for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to become part of our dynamic and innovative team at Warsaw's most rapidly expanding international school, commencing in August 2026.
The School
Located in the upscale area of Wilanow, BSW seamlessly combines historical elegance with contemporary facilities, surrounded by chic cafes, boutiques, and beautiful green areas.
Founded in Autumn 2014, BSW operates from a custom-designed building on a lovely greenfield site, originally starting with a small group of Nursery-aged children. By the 2024/25 academic year, our enrollment has grown to over 400 students, with several year groups now having waiting lists.
Our dedication to educational excellence is steadfast, as evidenced by our achievement of COBIS Patron's Accreditation in November 2021.
In 2023, BSW proudly joined the International Schools Partnership.
The Role
We are in search of British-qualified teachers with a background in the Middle Primary Phase, specifically KS2. Our current teaching staff is a unified group known for their adaptability, creativity, and enthusiasm, and we are excited to welcome new colleagues who share our commitment to nurturing the ethos, values, and framework of our ambitious institution. Our educational philosophy is centered around the Walk of the Lion, emphasizing Respect, Courage, Cooperation, Consideration, and Nobility.
Our educators are dedicated professionals passionate about student achievement. They uphold high expectations for student progress and actively engage in the broader school community. At BSW, we work diligently to integrate our school values into every aspect of our operations.
We provide a robust outdoor learning program, which includes Forest School and various sports, with teachers fully participating in the cultural, educational, and extracurricular activities of the school.
The Candidate
We are looking for individuals with UK teaching qualifications (PGCE or B.Ed.) and experience with the English National Curriculum, either domestically or in an international setting. QTS is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be devoted to educational excellence, show creativity and enthusiasm, and demonstrate respect for students, staff, parents, and the larger community. Recent experience teaching KS2 is essential.
