About This Role

Job Description

• Establish an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere based on evidence-driven best practices.

• Deliver a curriculum that employs a transdisciplinary and conceptual approach, ensuring it is both challenging and pertinent.

• Cultivate and maintain genuine, respectful, and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, while appreciating social, cultural, and religious diversity.

• Modify the curriculum to cater to a diverse array of learning requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with the Inclusive Education and EAL teams, in addition to the school counselor, to guarantee optimal outcomes for every student.

• Attend and contribute to meetings as required.

• Collaborate in the development and evaluation of Individual Education Plans when necessary.

• Maintain planning documents that detail specific learning goals, differentiated tasks, and assessment methods.

• Monitor and record student progress.

• Integrate technology appropriately to enhance student learning results.

• Ensure that the classroom is organized and well-kept, motivating students to take pride in their learning environment.

• Manage all aspects of classroom operations, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students in a positive and proactive manner.

• Participate in professional dialogues and work alongside colleagues, exchanging knowledge while safeguarding confidentiality.

• Advocate for student wellbeing, fostering a culture of safeguarding and child protection, and committing to the school's dedication to student safety.

• Be well-versed in Safeguarding reporting protocols and adhere to procedures regarding Child Protection Issues.

• Reflect on personal professional practices to remain informed about current research and best practices.

• Engage in Professional Learning and appraisal processes focused on personal, professional, and career development.

• Assist in managing pastoral care, health, welfare, and behavior for all students, particularly those in your assigned class group.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent, or a Bachelor’s Degree in another discipline along with a PGCE from an accredited University or College.

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience is essential.

• Candidates should submit original copies of their certificates and academic transcripts for verification.

• Preference will be given to those who are immediately available (i.e., currently residing in Riyadh with a valid transferable Iqama).

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
