About This Role

Design, plan, and deliver engaging ICT lessons that conform to the British National Curriculum for Key Stages 2.
Instruct students in digital literacy, computer science, and information technology in an enjoyable and age-appropriate manner.
Introduce concepts of coding, robotics, and multimedia tools to enhance computational thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Incorporate ICT throughout the broader curriculum, assisting classroom teachers in integrating technology into their subject areas.
Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of all students.
Evaluate, document, and report on student progress in alignment with school policy.
Foster a dynamic and secure learning environment that encourages curiosity and digital creativity.
Utilize both formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and offer constructive feedback.
Participate in cross-curricular projects that involve the integration of ICT.
Prepare students for necessary internal and external assessments.
Adhere to GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct consistently.
Engage in regular communication with parents, advocating for the GEMS philosophy and core values; keep parents updated on their children's progress while maintaining confidentiality regarding student information.
Demonstrate initiative and dedication beyond the standard work hours when tasks necessitate additional effort.
Attend staff meetings and take part in committees as needed.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by direct and dotted line managers/supervisors.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
