Humanities Teacher
About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct Senior School students in the Humanities curriculum.
- Fulfill pastoral duties as a Pastoral Tutor, prioritizing the welfare and safety of students.
- Assess student performance, generate reports, and maintain communication with parents.
- Participate in House activities.
- Take the lead or support co-curricular initiatives (including sports, arts, and academic clubs).
- Contribute to school marketing initiatives, assist with admissions events, and engage in committee work as required.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school-wide events.
- Complete additional responsibilities as directed by the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Humanities discipline.
- Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the designated Humanities curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
