We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sciences Teacher to become part of our team at Ningbo International High School.
Campus Overview:
- Location: Ningbo, a vibrant and modern city in Zhejiang Province, known for its rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural scenery.
- Curriculum: Our school adheres to the US Common Core Curriculum and offers AP courses to prepare students for higher education overseas.
- Students: Approximately 900 students in grades 9 through 12, all eager to pursue international education.
- Faculty: Our dedicated faculty includes 40 teachers, with 34 international educators and 6 bilingual instructors, working together to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Early dismissal on Fridays at 2:45 PM.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a teaching role.
- Preferred Major: A degree in a science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Necessary Certifications:
- Valid Teaching Credential/License.
- Additional relevant certifications are a plus.

Teacher Duties:
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction to support all students in achieving their academic goals.
- Evaluate students’ academic and social development, maintaining detailed records and preparing progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress.
- Collaborate with school administrators and colleagues to create a nurturing learning atmosphere.
- Engage in curriculum development and professional development workshops to stay informed about educational best practices.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating school activities and events, both on and off-campus.
