About the Programme:

The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a comprehensive bilingual initiative that integrates teaching and learning through the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes.

What we need:

Vinschool is on the lookout for enthusiastic, qualified, and certified teachers to join our international faculty. Successful candidates will teach the Cambridge Global Perspectives Programme in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. Applicants should be well-qualified and experienced, with a strong commitment to supporting students academically and through extracurricular activities.

Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Provide excellent subject-specific instruction in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework, with a teaching load of up to 20 hours per week.
  • Create curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching resources; manage and update information on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Tailor teaching methods and materials to accommodate a variety of student needs and learning preferences.
  • Evaluate and track student academic progress; offer timely feedback and support.
  • Maintain and update student academic records, including prompt updates of test results in school systems and preparation of student progress reports.
  • Set and uphold classroom expectations; monitor student behavior and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Design and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra assistance.
  • Engage in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Plan and participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic competitions.
  • Supervise students during non-class hours, including hall duty, morning gate duty, and other assigned supervision responsibilities from the Principal or Vice Principal.
  • While the primary teaching responsibility lies within their subject specialization, teachers may also be assigned a second subject within their expertise to support the school’s program.
  • Fulfill homeroom teacher duties as assigned, including attendance monitoring, pastoral care, and parent communication; an allowance is provided for this role.
  • Carry out additional professional responsibilities as directed by the Principal, Vice Principal, or Lead Teacher.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field of education.
  • Professional teaching qualification/license/certification as required.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree will be given preference.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience (post-qualification) in a formal school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum is an advantage but not mandatory.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English (minimum C1 proficiency).

Soft Skills and Characteristics:

  • Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
