The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, your responsibility will be to design and implement outstanding lessons tailored to the diverse needs of learners. You will cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence among all students. In addition to classroom responsibilities, you will play an active role in the broader school community, participating in co-curricular activities and community events to support the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
• Assess, document, and communicate student progress to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters effective learning.
• Maintain current knowledge of the curriculum, subject content, and effective teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design units of work, share effective practices, and contribute to curriculum enhancement.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
• Engage in co-curricular and extra-curricular initiatives, school events, and committees.
• Consistently uphold the GEMS Education Core Values and school policies.
• Encourage cultural awareness, resilience, and a genuine love of learning in all students.
