About This Role

John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives - and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Forest School Leader and Inclusion Support Assistant to join our evolving organisation.

We are looking for a passionate and creative Forest School Leader to bring outdoor learning to life. As a school we are new to delivering outdoor learning, starting to deliver L1 Forestry to a few Key Stage Students. We will be looking to expand our outdoor learning opportunities to all Key Stages over the coming years.

What will you be doing? Delivering and Supporting outdoor learning as well in classroom support as an inclusion support assistant. Creating an engaging safe and inspiring outdoor environment. Managing the forest school area and resources.

What do you need?

Forest School L3 Qualification

At least one year post qualification experience working with children

A Genuine passion for helping young children learn and thrive through nature and exploration.

Good numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C and above.

Compensation

£27,274.00 - £28,153.00 Annually (FTE) Actual Salary: Grade 5 (SCP 7 - 9) £20,803.71 - £21,474.18 per annum
