RBIS International School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our Early Years team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for play-based education, a dedication to nurturing young children's development through exploration and consistent provision, and the capability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design and deliver outstanding Early Years learning experiences that are in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
•
Create a vibrant play-based learning atmosphere that promotes children's independence, curiosity, and self-assurance.
•
Organize and arrange a classroom that features effective continuous provision, ensuring resources stimulate exploration, creativity, and child-led learning.
•
Observe children attentively and use assessment for learning to inform their next steps and support individual development.
•
Track and document children’s progress through ongoing observation and formative assessment.
•
Foster strong relationships with children and their families, maintaining open lines of communication regarding learning, development, and wellbeing.
•
Work collaboratively as part of the Early Years and Primary team, making positive contributions to planning, events, and wider school initiatives.
•
Aid in the social, emotional, and communication development of children through nurturing relationships and guidance on positive behavior.
•
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for every child.

•
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
•
Follow all school safeguarding policies and procedures, and report any concerns as necessary.
•
Maintain high standards of professional conduct and ensure that every child feels safe and supported in the learning environment.
Person Specification
The successful applicant will:
•
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (Early Childhood / EYFS / Primary).
•
Have proven experience in an Early Years setting.
•
Show a robust understanding of play-based learning and continuous provision.
•
Be knowledgeable about assessment for learning and formative assessment practices in Early Years.
•
Be a collaborative team player, able to work closely with colleagues and support staff.
•
Possess a passion for fostering children’s holistic development, including social, emotional, and communication skills.
•
Exhibit strong organizational abilities and a commitment to upholding high standards in teaching and learning.
