Position Overview:
- Highly skilled teacher with the ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in creative and innovative ways to ensure excellent educational outcomes.
- Fluent in the English language, with previous experience teaching Physical Education in a variety of classroom and practical environments.
- Familiarity with MYP, IGCSE, IBDP, and IBCP international curricula is advantageous, though not essential for applicants with the right overall skill set.
- Willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular sporting life of the school and assist with a tutor group if required.
General Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE).
- An understanding of the MYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous.
- Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The iPGCE (assessment only) does not qualify for Teacher Registration status from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, which is a crucial requirement for teaching at an ESF school.
