NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG is on the lookout for an EARLY YEARS TEACHER to become a part of our Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) team, which is dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences within the EYFS framework.

The role:

• As a qualified Early Years Teacher, your key responsibilities will involve:

• Establishing trust and confidence with children, colleagues, and parents;

• Encouraging and engaging students;

• Continuously seeking to improve the quality of student learning;

• Employing pupil tracking and assessment methods to enhance student success and refine professional practices in line with the school's objectives;

• Contributing to the school's improvement/development plan and supporting learning priorities, including departmental enhancement strategies;

• Upholding the school’s broader aspirations and values;

• Engaging in professional development to stay current with evolving teaching methodologies;

• Participating in Extra-Curricular Activities;

• Performing Pastoral Duties.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

• A recognized teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or another equivalent degree relevant to Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) (e.g., PGCE, HDipEd);

• Qualified Teacher Status;

• Experience or qualifications in EYFS or a related field;

• At least 2 years of teaching experience;

• A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework, the English National Curriculum, and related subject knowledge and pedagogy;

• A comprehensive understanding of child learning within the EYFS and its relevance to child development;

• The ability to deliver a broad, balanced, relevant, and creative EYFS curriculum;

• Evidence of continuous professional development related to education;

• Familiarity with assessment and reporting processes to enable effective intervention;

• Experience with data monitoring and evaluation;

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching in virtual or hybrid environments;

• The capability to incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning;

• Knowledge of pastoral monitoring and tracking systems;

• Experience with transition processes;

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and parents;

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in planning;

• A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence;

• Compliance with visa regulations for employment;

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, along with a willingness to participate in relevant child protection training as necessary.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
*Estimated range based on regional data averages.
