About This Role
The Head Master is seeking to appoint an experienced Inclusion professional for the role of Director of Inclusion; a strategic and driven leader, as well as an outstanding educator, who will motivate and nurture the specialist Inclusion team across the College, from FS1 to Year 13.
Brighton College, a dynamic and forward-thinking institution, is in search of a dedicated leader to enhance and advance the Inclusion team that operates from FS1 through Year 13. The Head Master is keen to identify an exceptional individual for the Director of Inclusion position; a competent professional leader and remarkable teacher with a relevant degree, who leads by example, exhibits outstanding teaching and inclusion practices, fuses creativity with academic rigor in the classroom, demonstrates a strong commitment, and possesses excellent organizational and communication abilities.
In this capacity, the Director of Inclusion will collaborate with a team of specialists dedicated to ensuring that every student receives the essential support and guidance needed to thrive. The Director will oversee the implementation of a Whole College approach toward supporting all students within the inclusion framework. This role demands a strong candidate to lead specialist support staff across all educational phases, ensuring that best practices in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are seamlessly woven into every lesson, thus maximizing student impact, progress, and achievement. As a senior leader, you will have the responsibility to define and shape this provision in accordance with College policies.
