• Can communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, and build positive relationships with students, families, staff and external agencies

• Has a track record as an excellent classroom practitioner

• Has proven experience of empowering students and staff to achieve their best

• Can demonstrate high degrees of personal integrity, creativity and resilience

• Has experience of developing their own expertise and skills, and that of those around them

• Has strong organisational and ICT skills

• Can lead with clarity, consistency and care in a fast-paced pastoral context

• Is committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour, attendance, conduct and student wellbeing

• May have subject expertise in English and the ability to teach PSHCE
