Located in the southern region of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a growing primary and lower secondary institution that follows an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8, alongside UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school is set to welcome its inaugural cohort in Grades 6 to 8 in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning us with leading international British schools, and we are fully prepared to offer the ECT induction for teachers.
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to join our team at RAK Academy Khuzam School. This crucial role acts as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and students. As the public representative of the school, the CLO should be approachable, friendly, and professional, effectively embodying the school's values. The position necessitates outstanding organizational abilities, the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, a flexible approach, and a proactive mindset, as it involves overseeing administrative functions while prioritizing customer service. Collaboration with marketing, sales, admissions, and administrative teams is critical, along with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for school visitors, warmly welcoming parents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel.
- Provide strong support to parents in finding solutions and actively assist the sales and enrollment team to drive school growth through successful enrollments.
- Manage all forms of communication, including phone, in-person, online, and email, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer inquiries.
- Follow safeguarding protocols by issuing visitor passes and lanyards, ensuring visitors are signed in, and confirming necessary information.
- Keep a neat and inviting reception area, ensuring promotional materials and forms are up-to-date and well-stocked.
- Encourage parental feedback, maintaining high service standards, and positively addressing any issues or concerns, seeking assistance from the line manager as needed.
- Compile attendance registers and track absences, promptly contacting parents of absent students.
- Assist in the school’s administrative functions by collaborating closely with administration assistants, and sales/enrollment, and marketing team members.
- Actively participate in school tours and marketing efforts, focusing on promoting school growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all Academy and School policies and procedures, particularly concerning child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection, promptly reporting any concerns and upholding relevant conduct codes.
- Set high standards of behavior and serve as a positive role model for others.
