Curriculum Specialist for MUSIC or COMPUTING

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively within a team to ensure there are high quality and effective learning opportunities for all children, and you should have a passion for working with pupils with a variety of needs and for the inclusion agenda. You need to have a secure knowledge and understanding of either MUSIC or COMPUTING and how it is taught in schools.

The role will include:

• Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities to a class of children;
• Evaluating the impact of activities;
• Leading the classroom in the absence of the teacher;
• Assessing children's attainment and progress

You need to be energetic and self-confident, and with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. You need to have extensive experience of working with children in a classroom, including children with special educational needs.

In addition, you need to be able to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
