Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver stimulating, inquiry-based lessons that ignite curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and learning styles.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, including EAL learners, gifted individuals, and those needing additional assistance.
- Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enhance student engagement and learning experiences.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, utilizing data to inform instruction and personalized support.
- Collaborate with peers to create and refine curriculum plans, resources, and assessments aligned with the IB framework.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the school community to support student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
