About This Role
The Role
The Subject Teacher will report directly to the Head of Department, with the responsibility of enriching the subject across all grade levels in the school. The preferred candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and possess a passion for teaching, bringing a dynamic and innovative approach that aligns with the vision and objectives of this bilingual institution.
This position is part of a dedicated team of specialized subject teachers, which is expected to grow significantly as student enrollment increases. The teacher will be pivotal in advancing the subject throughout every educational level within the school.

Qualifications:
•
A distinguished degree focusing primarily on the relevant subject
•
A recognized teaching qualification
•
At least two years of teaching experience
Requirements:
•
Native proficiency in English;
•
A minimum of two years of experience teaching the subject, with the capability to instruct students aged 11-18;
•
Outstanding communication skills in English for engaging with students, colleagues, and parents, along with the ability to facilitate interpretation into Chinese when needed, fostering strong relationships within the school community;
•
Ability to work collaboratively with others;
•
Familiarity with a variety of teaching resources, including digital tools that enhance the educational experience;
•
An understanding of the cultural nuances present in China and a willingness to adopt and maintain a cross-cultural approach in the workplace;
•
A dedication to actively participate in the wider life of the students and the school beyond academic hours, including involvement in academic enrichment and co-curricular activities;
•
Experience with A-Level or IGCSE students is a plus.
