Position Overview:
We invite enthusiastic Physical Education teachers who are dedicated to inspiring a passion for learning and enhancing the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with roles available starting August 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Middle School PE educators who are committed to fostering curiosity, motivating achievement, and supporting every student's success at DAA.
•
Conduct engaging and interactive PE lessons for students, adhering to the school's curriculum and educational standards.
•
Create and execute innovative teaching strategies that inspire a passion for PE and encourage critical thinking.
•
Collaborate with colleagues to cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
•
Ensure continuity in curriculum content delivery.
•
Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
•
Promote an inclusive classroom culture that stimulates curiosity and exploration.
•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents about student progress.
Successful candidates will need:
•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Physical Education.
•
Demonstrated experience teaching Middle School PE, preferably in an American/IB curriculum environment.
•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and practical PE education.
•
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
•
Ability to foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
•
A committed desire for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
