About This Role

Astra Academy International School, situated in Thailand, is a premier educational establishment devoted to delivering exceptional international education. We are currently looking for a passionate Librarian and Research Centre Specialist to become part of our team. This role presents a unique opportunity to spearhead the creation of an engaging library and research setting that fosters reading, inquiry, and self-directed learning throughout the entire school.

Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, Education, or a relevant field


Experience in a school library or educational research setting


Strong knowledge of research methodologies, information literacy, and inquiry-based learning


Proficiency in assisting students with locating, assessing, and utilizing information effectively


Experience in fostering literacy and reading development across various age groups


Capacity to collaborate with educators to enhance curriculum initiatives and Project Based Learning


Excellent organizational and library management capabilities


Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Experience within an international school environment is preferred
