Position Overview:

We invite passionate educators specializing in Coding & Robotics who are eager to foster a love for learning and enhance the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting in August 2026.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for Middle School Coding & Robotics educators dedicated to nurturing curiosity, motivating achievement, and supporting the success of every student at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

•
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Coding & Robotics to students in alignment with the school's curriculum and educational standards.

•
Create and implement innovative teaching strategies designed to inspire enthusiasm for Coding & Robotics while promoting critical thinking skills.

•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

•
Ensure consistency in the delivery of curriculum content.

•
Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

•
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages exploration and curiosity.

•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress.

Successful candidates will need:

•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or a Level 5 equivalent specialization in Computer Science/Coding/Robotics.

Demonstrated experience teaching Middle School Coding & Robotics, ideally in an American/IB curriculum setting.

•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and hands-on education in Coding & Robotics.

•
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•
Capability to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

•
A strong commitment to continuously enhancing their teaching practice and delivering exceptional learning experiences.
