Position Overview:
We invite applications from dedicated Science educators, eager to inspire a passion for learning and engage with the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with available positions starting in August 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for Middle School Science teachers committed to fostering curiosity, inspiring success, and supporting every student's journey at DAA.
•
Deliver captivating and interactive Science lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
•
Create and implement innovative teaching strategies that nurture a love for Science and develop critical thinking abilities.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
•
Ensure continuity in curriculum content delivery.
•
Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs of students.
•
Promote an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress.
Successful candidates will need:
•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or a Level 5 equivalent specialization in Science.
•
Demonstrated experience teaching Middle School Science, ideally in an American/IB curriculum setting.
•
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Science education.
•
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
•
Ability to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
•
A commitment to continuously enhancing their teaching practice and providing exceptional learning experiences for their students.
